We are seeking a Toolmaker for our client, a healthcare multinational based in Limerick.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that mould tooling is maintained to the highest standards and that maximum performance is achieved from all tooling in production.
Based in the Tool room this role involves activities such as Tool making, Processing of Mould Tools, Mould Stacking and Component Machining .
Duties include, but are not limited to: Visual inspection of key quality indicators, Mold Stacking and assembly of all mould tooling platforms.
Qualification of mould tooling that is in compliance to departmental procedural requirements.
Mould assembly / maintenance and repair.
First article component qualification.
Insert management.
Mold Processing.
Technician Training.
Precision Machining.
Maintaining IMAS.
IMM Machine maintenance The ideal candidate will be technical or trade qualified or will have will have gained sufficient experience in a comparable role.
Other desirable characteristics include: Familiarity with Injection Molding equipment/process.
Excellent attention to detail.
