About the role We are looking for a Solution Architect with a strong understanding of Microsoft Business Technologies. Ideally, prospective candidates will either have direct experience with or at least a very strong understanding of Microsoft PowerPlatform, Azure/Azure DevOps, MS Fabric and other key technologies. While technical competency is of course a must, the ideal candidate will also have customer facing experience and be comfortable with briefing clients and other key Stakeholders on the progress of solutions This role is offered on a Hybrid basis, with the Solutions Architect required on site in our Park west Offices and /or at various customer sites throughout Dublin City/County o a 3 days per week basis though this may be reduced over time after relationships with customers have been built up. While our preference would be to hire a Solution Architect on a permanent basis, we will consider contract options for suitability experienced candidates. Responsibilities of role Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with delivered solutions. Work closely with key Stakeholders and Business Analysts to translate client needs into technical solutions. Develop comprehensive solutions using MS Power Platform Design scalable architecture that meets business requirements and is easy to maintain Devise integration strategies and plans to connect various systems and technologies. Ensure seamless integration of Power Platform solutions with existing client infrastructure and systems. Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure the quality and performance of solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to development teams to maintain high standards. Maintain adherence to best practices and standards in solution architecture and development. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Essential Candidate Requirements Third Level degree or postgraduate qualification in IT, Computer Science or other area relevant to the role Certification While experience is paramount, any certification in Architecture (TOGAF, Co Bit), Project Management (Prince 2, PMP), Service Delivery (ITIL) and Azure/Azure DevOps or other Microsoft Technology would be most welcome A minimum of 10 Years industry experience, at least 5 of which should have ben spent as a solutions Architect High level of Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, along with the ability to design and develop solutions using these tools. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and their integration Power Platform. Experience with cloud architecture and deployment models. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL. Experience with development frameworks and tools like .NET, Angular, and React. Expertise in data modelling, database design, and data integration. Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and other data storage solutions. Ability to integrate Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems and applications. Experience with APIs, web services, and middleware technologies. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards. Experience with testing and validation processes to ensure solution quality.
