An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation as a BizOps Engineer / Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - on a contract basis. The role is hybrid to be based in Dublin, Ireland.
The role of SRE is to be the production readiness steward for client products. As a SRE, you would be responsible for ensuring that client platform is stable and healthy. Ultimately, the role of SRE is to align Product and Customer Focused priorities with Operational needs by providing continuous feedback throughout the life cycle.
Skills:-
* At least 6 to 9 years of experience as a SRE/DevOps Engineer
* Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead in DevOps automation and best practices.
* Ensure application scalability, performance, and resilience across production systems.
* Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable software delivery.
* Implement monitoring & observability using Dynatrace / AppDynamics / Splunk.
* Drive automation to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
* Serve as primary contact for application health, capacity, and performance.
* Troubleshoot, script, and automate solutions using Java / Shell / C.
* Lead and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
* Collaborate with development teams to define SLOs/SLAs and enforce reliability standards.
* Proactively manage production changes, capacity planning, and deployment readiness.
* Thrive in agile, cross-functional environments with strong ownership and communication.
* Analyses ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
