Overview Of Role
UPMC Ireland is currently recruiting for an IT Project & Process Coordinator to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination, documentation, and communication across various IT initiatives. This position is ideal for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Please note: this is strictly an administrative role with no direct project management or line management responsibilities.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
* Support the IT department in its delivery of projects.
* Coordinate resource availability and logistics to support the execution of IT projects.
* Assist with the management of purchase orders and invoices
* Organise and maintain document repositories ensuring up-to-date version control.
* Support the onboarding process for project team members by ensuring access to relevant systems and tools.
* Maintain and administer the Portfolio Management System and ensure data accuracy.
* Liaise with internal departments including procurement, finance, and HR as required.
* Support the business in compiling submissions for vendor security reviews when onboarding new systems, equipment or applications
* Coordinating the vendor security review board
* Ongoing monitoring of vendor security reviews from initiation to completion
Qualifications & Experience
* 1–3 years’ experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role, preferably in a clinical, technical or IT environment
* Working knowledge of IT concepts and terminology.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities, with high attention to detail.
* Demonstrated flexibility to manage changing priorities.
* Experience in clinical setting is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is advantageous
* A valid driving licence is required.
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship
Working Pattern
* 39 hours per week delivered during the normal working day
