We invite applications for a Lecturer/Assistant Professor position in Humanitarian Action within the School of Agriculture and Food Science.
About the Role
This is an academic post that will contribute to teaching, research, and administration within the School and the Centre for Humanitarian Action. The successful candidate will be a member of the UCD Centre for Humanitarian Action and will play a key role in enhancing professionalism in the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to teaching and research in Humanitarian Action
* Participate in administration and management of the Centre for Humanitarian Action
Requirements
The appointee should have a strong background in Humanitarian Action and possess excellent teaching and research skills. A doctoral degree in a relevant field is required, as well as experience in humanitarian work or research.
Benefits
The successful candidate will be appointed on scale and in accordance with Department of Finance guidelines. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
