 
        To deliver high-quality, responsive, and compliant carpentry and building fabric maintenance services across multiple sites in Ireland. The role focuses onfire door installation, inspection, and maintenance, as well asfirestopping and passive fire protection works, ensuring all activities meet Irish building and fire safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance carpentry works on client sites nationwide.Undertake installation, adjustment, and maintenance of fire doors, ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations (Part B – Fire Safety) and relevant standards (e.g., IS EN 1634-1, BS 8214, or BM Trada ).Perform firestopping and compartmentation works to maintain building integrity and compliance with TGD-B and fire safety design requirements.Conduct fire door inspections, compile reports, and highlight remedial works required.Complete general building fabric repairs including partitions, flooring, ceilings, skirting, locks, and ironmongery.Provide multi-skilled support including minor plumbing, painting, and general maintenance tasks.Ensure accurate completion of digital work orders, reports, and compliance documentation via CAFM or mobile systems.Maintain all tools, equipment, and materials to a high standard, ensuring safe working conditions at all times.Adhere to Health & Safety legislation, site rules, and company safety procedures (including Safe Pass and Manual Handling requirements).Participate in on-call or emergency response duties as required.Deliver a customer-focused service, maintaining professional communication and conduct on all client sites.Essential Skills and Qualifications:National Craft Certificate or QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery (or equivalent).Proven experience in carpentry and multi-skilled maintenance, ideally within a mobile facilities or building services environment.Fire Door Installation & Maintenance Certification (e.g., BM Trada, FIRAS, or equivalent).Firestopping / Passive Fire Protection Training and practical experience.Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and fire safety compliance .Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence .Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across multiple sites.Proficient in use of mobile reporting systems or CAFM platforms.Desirable:Additional trade skills (basic plumbing, electrical, painting, tiling).Experience in healthcare, education, commercial, or public sector facilities .Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.Working knowledge of Health and Safety Authority (HSA) requirements.Awareness of asbestos and working at height procedures.Personal Attributes:Professional, reliable, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing operational needs.Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and compliance excellence.Benefits:Competitive salary and overtime rates.Company vehicle, fuel card, tools, and PPE provided.Ongoing professional training and certification support.Opportunities for career progression within a national facilities team.
