Commercial Lead (SOCOTEC Ireland)
Dublin, with some travel to the UK
As SOCOTEC Group expand and grow we are seeking a Commercial Lead manage all contractual, commercial, financial and cost management activities on projects from inception through to completion. To provide strategic commercial guidance and oversight to Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring compliance with Republic of Ireland and EU business law requirements.
You will drive commercial excellence and strategic value creation across all project portfolios while ensuring full compliance with Irish and EU business law requirements. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver optimal financial outcomes, mitigate commercial risks, and establish SOCOTEC as the preferred commercial partner for infrastructure projects across Ireland and the UK. Foster a culture of commercial awareness and legal compliance while mentoring the next generation of commercial professionals to support the company's continued growth and market leadership
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to)
* Lead on Contracting and contract finance
* Manage and give expert advice on Risk Management and Sub- Contracting
* Provide expertise on Irish law and practise
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate
* Strong understanding of Republic of Ireland Business Law and EU Business Law
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing
* Proven leadership and team management capabilities
* Ability to be precise and meticulous in ensuring processes are carried out correctly and in a timely manner
* Strong business acumen with advanced problem-solving skills
