Oak Central Recruitment Services Limited T/A Masterlink is seeking 1 Logistics Operations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
* Inventory Management & Systems Control
o Oversee inventory accuracy through system-based audits and reporting using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
o Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
o Analyze inventory variances and recommend corrective actions to management.
* Order & Transport Coordination
o Coordinate daily order fulfilment and dispatch activities, ensuring on‑time delivery to customers and distribution partners.
o Liaise with transport providers to plan delivery routes, optimize vehicle utilization, and resolve shipment delays.
o Generate and verify shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with client and customs requirements.
* Process & Performance Analysis
o Track and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy, and turnaround times.
o Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management review, highlighting operational trends and improvement opportunities.
o Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost‑effectiveness in logistics operations.
* Compliance & Safety
o Ensure all logistics operations comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Irish Health & Safety regulations.
o Participate in internal audits and support corrective actions related to stock control and transport operations.
* Team Collaboration
o Work closely with the Logistics Operations Team Leader to coordinate workload, allocate resources, and ensure smooth daily operations.
o Provide system and process support to warehouse and transport staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements
* Experience: 12 years preferred in fast‑paced logistics, warehouse, or supply chain roles; analytical/system control experience a plus.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in WMS and Microsoft Office (Excel for analysis and reporting).
* Personal Attributes: Detail‑oriented, organized, analytical, and proactive.
* Legal: Must have the right to work in Ireland and pass required background checks for airside operations, if applicable.
Hours: 39 per week
Salary: €35,464 per annum (€17.49 per hour)
