Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to perform on-site installation, service, maintenance, validation, upgrade, calibration, and repair of complex equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating faults, approving and signing off documentation and checklists certifying the correct functioning of devices and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fault finding, servicing, and repairing medical equipment.
* Updating the service and repair system.
* Requisitioning spare parts with the procurement team.
* Attending training courses and refresher training as required.
* Reviewing process and equipment maintenance documentation and SOPs as necessary.
* Ensuring compliance with company, EHS & regulatory requirements.
* Participating in Cross-Functional teams as necessary.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will require:
* At least 2 years' experience working on servicing equipment (ideally medical or scientific).
* A third-level university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating complex equipment.
* A full clean driver's license.
