Job Title: Senior Electronic Engineer
The role involves technical leadership across all stages of development of electronic systems for medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development of electronics systems for medical devices, including architecture definition, requirements specification, prototype design, risk assessment, and manufacturing specification.
* Interaction with external contractors/suppliers and support preparation of compliance packages for product certification.
* Project management to ensure commitments are achieved within aggressive timelines while meeting agreed budget.
* Ensuring full compliance with quality, regulatory, health, and safety procedures.
* Design transfer to manufacturing and providing effective internal and external communications and reporting.
* Training, developing, and leading R&D engineers and other technical staff.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
* 5+ years previous experience in a Medical Devices environment with knowledge of medical device product development, certification, and manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of RF and radio standards and certification processes.
* High competence in analog and digital electronics design, electronics testing/troubleshooting, and electronics manufacturing.
