A culture of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing drives the business, with staff development being a core value.Main Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesLead the Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance teams to ensure high process efficiency in a modern, well-invested facility.Ensure maintenance operations adhere to health, safety, quality, and hygiene standards, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.Plan and develop TPM systems to maximize line/process efficiency, including energy, refrigeration, plant services, utilities, and WWTP.Develop best practices in process engineering and maintenance, incorporating new technologies and standards.Enhance team capabilities through performance reviews, training, and coaching, aligning with industry standards.Manage maintenance and engineering costs within KPI budgets, including energy and project expenditures.Implement Lean Maintenance systems using appropriate tools and techniques for continuous improvement.Coordinate with external contractors and installation companies to complete maintenance and projects to required standards.Participate in strategic and operational decisions as a key member of the Site Management Team, engaging with customers, regulators, and capital projects.Further InformationJob Title: Maintenance and Engineering ManagerLocation: EdenderryDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Site Operations ManagerJob SummaryThe Maintenance and Engineering Manager reports to the Site Operations Manager and is responsible for managing maintenance and engineering activities to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
