An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Assistant to join a well-established and highly respected main contractor delivering major projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education and mixed-use sectors.
This role will suit a highly organised individual with strong administrative and coordination skills who is keen to build a long-term career within bids, pre-construction, and work-winning.
The Role
Working closely with the Bid and Pre-Construction team, the Bid Assistant will support the preparation, coordination and submission of high-quality tender and PQQ documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the preparation and submission of bids, tenders and PQQs
* Coordinating bid documentation, drawings and schedules
* Managing document control and ensuring version accuracy
* Liaising with internal teams (commercial, planning, design) to gather bid inputs
* Formatting and proofreading tender responses to a high standard
* Maintaining bid trackers, timelines and submission portals
* Supporting post-tender clarifications and presentations
Requirements
* Previous experience in a
Bid Assistant / Bid Coordinator / Construction Admin
role (construction or engineering background preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with tender portals and bid processes is an advantage
