We're now looking for a Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly team. This is a key role in the day-to-day running of our workshop, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, customer interaction, and keeping things organised.
The Role
As the Workshop Receptionist / Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers — both in person and over the phone. You'll manage bookings, issue invoices, process payments, and support the workshop team with daily administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet customers and handle phone and email enquiries in a professional manner
* Manage customer bookings, service updates, and follow-ups
* Prepare and issue job cards, invoices, and receipts
* Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records
* Support workshop scheduling and communication between staff and customers
* Maintain records, filing systems, and customer databases
* Handle mail, deliveries, and basic office administration
* Liaise with suppliers and assist with ordering parts when required
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, friendly, and confident working in a busy environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, invoicing systems)
* Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
* Good attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
* Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Experience handling payments and basic cash reconciliation
