We are committed to running our business responsibly and in ways that drive environmental, social and economic value for our stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, employees and local communities.The roleWe are seeking a commercially minded and transformation-driven Global Reward Director to lead the design, execution, and governance of total rewards programs across a global plastics packaging organization. This role is critical in supporting post-merger integration, driving simplification and standardization of reward practices, and ensuring operational excellence in compensation and benefits delivery. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in global reward strategy, strong change management capabilities, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders across complex, matrixed environments.Drive the harmonization of reward structures, policies and systems across legacy and acquired businessesDesign and implement reward programs with the broader business strategy to support cultural, behavioural and operational alignment and enable company competitiveness and performanceEnsure compliance, consistency and fairness in reward practices across regions and in line with local regulations, tax laws, and internal audit requirementsEstablish and maintain global reward policies, frameworks, and governance standardsEnsure effective execution of annual reward cycles, including salary reviews, bonus plans, and long-term incentivesProvide expert guidance on executive compensation, benchmarking, and market competitivenessLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience in reward operationsLead change management efforts related to reward transformation and system implementationsDevelop communication strategies to support employee understanding and engagement with reward programsPartner with HRIS and IT teams to implement and optimize reward-related systems and toolsAct as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders on all reward-related mattersCollaborate with regional HR teams to ensure local relevance and adoption of global reward strategiesQualifications And ExperienceMaster's degree or MBA (preferred)Professional certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) or HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is highly desirableFluency in English; additional languages are a plus10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3–5 years in a global or regional leadership roleProven experience in harmonization, standardisation and transformation of reward programs across geographies and business unitsPost-merger or acquisition experience desirableStrong background in total rewards execution, including executive compensation and incentive designExperience in change management, systems implementation, and stakeholder engagementIndustry experience in manufacturing, industrial, or packaging sectors is preferredHigh level of financial literacy, data analysis and modelling skillsStrong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills in a global context required.Skilled at simplifying complex concepts and inputs into compelling proposals and narratives.If you have the above experience and are looking for a role where you can make a real difference, apply today to find out more
