Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Small Engine Mechanic at HireStation Edenderry's location in Edenderry. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines and machinery. Key duties include routine servicing, troubleshooting mechanical issues, replacing or repairing faulty parts, ensuring equipment is in safe working condition, and maintaining accurate records of services performed. Working closely with the team, you will ensure the timely availability of serviced equipment for customers.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing small engine equipment, including lawnmowers, strimmers, chainsaws, and other gardening machinery
* Knowledge of engine troubleshooting, servicing, and replacement of defective parts
* Strong technical and mechanical skills, with experience using tools and equipment for repairs
* Ability to maintain accurate service records and manage parts inventory
* Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently and independently
* Prior experience in a similar mechanic role or relevant technical training
* Familiarity with safety and compliance practices in equipment repair and maintenance
* Driver's license and ability to commute to Edenderry
