Noel Group is recruiting an Electrical Technician on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified Electrician looking to develop their career within a modern manufacturing environment. Previous industrial or maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential, as full onsite training and support will be provided. Candidates living within a reasonable commuting distance are preferred, however all suitably qualified applicants will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on plant equipment and production lines
• Perform electrical maintenance across the site, including utilities and infrastructure
• Support the safe and efficient operation of machinery through planned and reactive maintenance
• Install, wire, test, and commission electrical equipment as required
• Diagnose electrical issues and assist production teams in minimising downtime
• Support preventative maintenance schedules and routine equipment testing
• Complete maintenance records accurately and in line with internal procedures
• Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to meet production targets
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects
• Carry out additional tasks as required by the Maintenance Supervisor
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• A recognised electrical trade qualification (Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, or Control)
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment is an advantage but not essential
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and schematics
• Basic understanding of PLCs, with troubleshooting experience considered an advantage
• Experience working with a range of voltages in industrial or commercial settings
• Knowledge of electro-pneumatics or instrumentation is beneficial but not required
• Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on safe working practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
