We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join the Village Hotel team. Reporting to the General Manager the ideal candidate will have experience as a Food and Beverage Senior Supervisor/DM, preferably in a 4 Hotel and is a stickler for detail, passionate about delivering high quality service consistently to guests. You must have excellent team leadership, motivation, communication, and organisational skills.
The position would suit an experienced supervisor or duty manager looking for promotion with relevant experience. The position plays an integral role in constant development and improvement of the department across, Casual Dining, Weddings and Events.

Key Responsibilities:
· To assist with the day to day operational management of the F&B department.
· To ensure all departmental staff can carry out their duties to the standards as developed by you & incorporated in a standard of procedure manual.
· To embrace change and development.
· To develop and build and mentor a confident team in all F&B areas that engages with and exceeds guest expectations.
· To review staffing levels to ensure that guest service and operational needs are met whilst ensuring financial astuteness.
· To ensure compliance to food and beverage handling standards
· Monitoring purchasing costs within the F&B department, adhering to budget, minimising waste, stock control and stock taking etc.
· Managing F&B department labour budget in line with business levels, labour forecasts, rosters etc.
· To identify recruitment needs and actively recruit for the F&B department.
· To upskill and train the F&B team in all SOP's and to carry out team performance appraisals
· Working with other HOD's including Chef to ensure effective communication and harmonious relations across departments
· Attending relevant meetings & arranging to provide timely operational and financial reporting.
