We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer with a proven track record in civil engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Ireland or the UK, with a strong technical ability and management skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Site Engineers: Oversee and manage site engineers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
* Site Management: Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure smooth project delivery, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce.
* Quality Control and Safety: Implement quality control measures and ensure strict safety protocols are followed on all sites.
* Problem Solving: Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and deal with any issues that arise during projects.
Requirements
* Civil Engineering Qualification: Possess a third-level qualification in civil engineering.
* Technical Ability: Demonstrate strong technical ability and management skills.
* Problem Solving: Show calmness under pressure and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
* Teamwork: Integrate well within a well-run team.
* Commercial Awareness: Have commercial awareness and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
