Service Development Manager - Residential Care
We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to join our team as a Service Development Manager for a new residential care service. As a key member of our management team, you will play a central role in establishing and developing this new service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the establishment and commissioning of the new residential care service.
* Develop and implement systems, processes, and practices that reflect best standards and regulatory requirements.
* Play an active role in service design, change management, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Recruit, guide, and develop a committed staff team aligned with the service's vision and values.
* Oversee admissions, care planning, safeguarding, and risk management from the outset.
Requirements
* A recognised Social Care, Nursing, or Health and Social Care degree.
* Minimum 3 years management/supervisory experience within disability, residential, or social care services.
* Demonstrated experience in service development, new service setup, or leading meaningful change (highly desirable).
* Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and change-management skills.
* Thorough understanding of relevant legislation.
