An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Associate Specialist Engineering working on the B-Con OSD project.
What you will do:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:
* Reporting to the Pharm Ops Technical Lead, the Associate Specialist Engineering will provide technical support to the B-Con OSD project for existing equipment, introduction of new equipment and new product introduction into the B-Con OSD Facility.
* Leads process and equipment optimization to sustain and improve product quality, yields and throughput. Recommends and implements measures to improve production systems, equipment performance, yields and quality of product.
* Interfaces with Process Development and Commercialization Group to integrate new products into the B-Con OSD facility either as new process development entities or as product transfer from another manufacturing facility.
* Supports migration of process knowledge for product technical transfers from facility.
* Plays lead role in operations and equipment training of Production Team and provides support in the training of Production Operators.

* Utility plant equipment Site Change Control Systems
* Automation Control Systems, Batch Recipes, Manufacturing Execution System elements such as Electronic Work Instructions, Equipment Tracking Systems and Material Tracking
* Technical process knowledge management systems
* Lean Manufacturing Principles
* Software applications for Equipment Tracking, Material/Inventory Control, Work Order Generation
* Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources and Emergency Response Policies and Procedures
* Process, Equipment, Cleaning and GMP Utility Validation Systems
* Leadership – Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to motivate and coach others to achieve results
* Ability to plan, prioritize and effectively manage time, meet deadlines and produce quality deliverables
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (includes ability to write electronic work instructions, batch recipes, procedures, standard operating procedures and work protocols)
* Decision making – analyses issues from different points of view, able to draw accurate conclusions from analyses to support decision making and makes timely decisions
* Openness to and ability to affect change. High personal integrity, credibility and energy
