About the Company - This National NGO in Dublin 12 is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.
About the Role - Reporting to the Financial Controller:
* Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring alignment with the company's policies and reporting timelines.
* Produce monthly management accounts with detailed analysis and schedules.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary finance contact.
* Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and analytics capabilities.
* Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, including detailed variance analysis.
* Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of Financial Statements and external audits.
* Provide proactive line management support for finance staff in line with the company's core values.
Qualifications -
* Qualified Member of a relevant accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Minimum 5 years’ finance experience post-professional qualification.
* Experience in large complex accounting functions and working to tight deadlines.
* Expertise in financial modelling and reporting using Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
