Our organization is seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to lead their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential house building and be able to manage construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and according to plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
* Lead and manage site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed according to plans and standards.
* Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure the availability of necessary materials, equipment, and resources.
* Conduct regular site inspections, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain project momentum.
Requirements:
* Strong ability to understand technical drawings and ensure all substructure works are carried out in line with specifications.
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in dealing with utility providers (Uisce Eireann & ESB)
* Confidence in managing tasks and ensuring the project stays on schedule.
* Ability to prioritize workload / excellent time management / excellent managerial skills.
* Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
