Main Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the supermarket, ensuring efficiency and profitability
2. Lead, train, and motivate the management team and staff to deliver exceptional standards across all departments
3. Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations
4. Work closely with department managers to achieve sales, margin, and waste targets
5. Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor KPI performance
6. Ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control, and store presentation
7. Drive customer service excellence and resolve customer queries efficiently
8. Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that supports teamwork and staff development
9. Liaise with senior management on business performance, initiatives, and future planning
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior manager within a large supermarket environment
* Proven ability to drive sales performance and deliver operational excellence
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A hardworking, flexible, and proactive approach to management
* Possession of a passion for retail and a commitment to maintaining high store standards
