Job Description
We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our clients well-established nursing home in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where resident care and staff wellbeing are a priority.
The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:
1. Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents
2. Assist with daily living activities including mobility, hygiene, and meals
3. Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
4. Work closely with nurses and the wider care team
5. Maintain accurate records and follow HIQA standards
Requirements
6. QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support.
7. Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting (preferred)
8. A caring, patient, and professional attitude
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. Eligibility to work in Ireland
