Galway Bookkeeping is a growing bookkeeping company based in Galway city has a vacancy for an experienced part time Accounts Assistant.
Minimum 10 hours per week, once training is complete this will be an almost fully remote role where the successful candidate will be able to choose their own hours.
They will be required to meet in person in our office once or twice a month.
Currently taking on new clients so there is potential to increase hours in the coming months.
THE JOB:
Inputting of invoices and credit notes.
Reconciling Creditor accounts.
Posting bank statement transactions.
Reconciling cash clearing & bank accounts.
Recording of daily sales and related transactions.
Other ad hoc duties that may arise.
THE PERSON:
Excellent communication skills
Good organizational skills
Highly motivated with the ability to use own initiative and work to deadlines
Effective multi-tasker with the ability to focus on key priorities
Attention to detail and sees tasks through to completion
Self assured with ability to create positive working relationships
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements of the role
Good working knowledge of accounts package and MS office
