Job Title:
The role of a Procurement Specialist is crucial in ensuring that materials are available to meet production requirements through efficient procurement practices, optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance
* Collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage supplier qualification processes
* Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding inquiries, expedites, and stock-outs
* Monitor and update pricing, descriptions, and lead times against Purchase Orders
* Review and address discrepancies in Sales Order Acknowledgments and vendor invoices
* Participate in cycle count activities and Annual Physical Inventory
Requirements:
* Advanced degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or a related field
* Customer service or sales experience in a technical area
* Experience in procurement activities complying with medical device and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/ORACLE) and data analytics visual tools (Power BI)
