Audit Senior - Asset Management – Grant Thornton (US)
Grant Thornton is a leading global network of accounting firms delivering innovative solutions to clients worldwide. We are expanding our Asset Management team to support a diverse portfolio of clients across funds, private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, structured finance, and SPVs.
As an Audit Senior, you will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of audit engagements for asset‑management clients, driving quality, technical excellence, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and supervise audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit program development, and fieldwork.
Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
Supervise and coach junior audit staff, providing direction and constructive feedback.
Maintain audit documentation and reports in compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Act as client point of contact during engagements, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
Participate in technical training programs to enhance knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Support development and mentoring of junior team members through on‑the‑job training and coaching.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of audit experience.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Strong technical skills in Irish GAAP, auditing standards, and IFRS.
Experience with diverse portfolios of clients in the asset‑management sector.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of managing engagements independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail and analytical assessment.
