Reporting to the Deputy Manager, this role ensures we serve Ireland’s shoppers a little better every day.Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customersBe responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are absentEnsure team members are fully trained and validated in their rolesFoster two-way communication and a culture of trustCoach and manage colleagues to meet daily priorities and customer needsReview reports and systems to implement improvements for customers and colleaguesPromote a culture of zero food waste, managing date codes and food safetyRecruit passionate colleagues who prioritize customer serviceUnderstand and deliver cleaning standards through leadership by exampleManage stock control, warehouse layout, and routines for first-time accuracyAddress pricing issues, overcharges, refunds, and labeling routines to ensure correct chargesManage front-end operations to prevent queuesRecognize and give feedback on excellent service and address poor serviceKey Skills and ExperienceCandidates should demonstrate:A passion for delivering excellent service for customers and colleaguesAdaptability and agility in thinkingAbility to deliver objectives in a fast-paced environmentBeing the go-to person for department queriesInfluencing at senior levelsPrevious retail experience in a similar role (preferred)Our Vision and ValuesOur vision is to become every customer’s favourite way to shop, at home or on the move.
