BakerWaterford Overview: We are currently recruiting an experienced and passionate Baker on behalf of our client.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is committed to delivering high-quality baked goods to customers.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked products following established recipes and quality standards.Ensure the bakery section is well-stocked, visually appealing, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.Monitor product freshness, rotate stock, and minimise waste in line with best practices.Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines.Provide excellent customer service, including handling custom orders and answering product queries.Collaborate with team members and support the wider store operations where needed.Maintain production logs and assist with stock control and ordering when required.Requirements:Previous experience as a baker in a retail or commercial setting.A strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures.Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.High attention to detail and a passion for food quality.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.Self-motivated with good time management skills.What's on Offer:Competitive hourly rate and staff benefits.A positive and supportive work environment.Opportunities for career development and upskilling.
