Your New Job:
As a Finance Analyst, you will report directly to the CFO and take the lead in managing financial controls for a growing project portfolio.
You'll spend your time collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting financial decision-making, and ensuring robust project reporting.
This is a vital, hands-on position—where your insights will shape both short and long-term business outcomes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and maintain project budgets and cost plans
Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
Support project cash flow forecasting, valuation processes, and final accounts
Contribute to monthly reporting, including cost control, WIP, P&L, and margin analysis
Engage with teams on contract terms, claims, and commercial reviews
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
Deliver actionable financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
What Are We Looking For?
Proven finance experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based roles (2–6 years)
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central, SAP, Oracle)
Experience working alongside Quantity Surveyors or on project finance reporting
Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar); or equivalent project/commercial finance exposure
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
