Role Summary
The HR Function is designed to support colleagues and enable a high-performance organisation through the provision of timely and effective human resources management and services which support recruitment and selection, talent development and capability building, colleague experience and engagement, and key people processes (such as compensation and benefits, workday administration etc.).
We are seeking a HR graduate to join our team in the International HQ, Cherrywood, Dublin as part of our early career programme. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRBP, this placement will be for 12 months duration from November 2025 onwards as outlined below.
Job Purpose
The role is based at our International HQ in Dublin and is an opportunity to work with a variety of skilled individuals in the Animal Health industry and experts in their professional field. The overall purpose of the role is to work alongside the team of Head Office, supporting them towards achieving their commercial and strategic HR goals.
This role supports the team to ensure delivery of activities such as HR projects, HR operational requirements, policy management and running the early careers process and supporting the recruitment of new employees in all of which aim to satisfy the business strategic objectives and comply with employment legislation and Zoetis regional and local policies and procedures.
During your time at Zoetis, you can expect to develop key planning, project management and communication skills as well as developing HR operational expertise. You will gain a good understanding of how a support function delivers targeted support and solutions to colleagues and the business.
You will gain invaluable experience of working in a fast-paced, fluid, complex business environment, learning how to prioritise, multi-task and flex your skills and working style to meet the needs of the business.
Core Responsibilities
Employee Relations:
* Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries.
* Manage and improve HR documentation and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
* Maintain and organise employee records.
* Support Workday transactions and manage related tasks.
Talent Acquisition:
* Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
* Support the onboarding process for new hires.
* Lead the Zoetis early career program in Ireland.
Business Unit Support
:
* Review and improve HR policies for legal compliance with employment laws.
* Provide administrative support to HR, including handling mortgage forms, employment confirmation letters, and statutory leave requests (e.g., paternity and maternity leave)
* Identify and implement one key improvement in the HR function as part of internship.
Compliance
* Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values and local codes of practice.

Training & Qualifications
* Completed degree in human resource management, business, or related field.
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law.
* IT literate. Able to use standard business software and communication tools.
Experience
* No experience is required for this role but authorised to work in Ireland.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, problem solving and analytics skills.
* We work an empowered flexibility model so must be able to travel to the office alongside working from home.
Travel Requirement
* Occasional business travel within Ireland as part of work placement programme and will be organised by Zoetis on your behalf.
Duration
This is a 12-months intern contract
Compensation
This role will have an annual salary of €25,000.
