You will work onsite in the company's modern Galway offices.Your new roleThis role involves processing invoices, payments, and expenses in multiple currencies, managing VAT, VIES, and Intrastat filings, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. You will also prepare monthly management accounts and liaise with auditors on year-end accounts.In addition to company-specific duties, you will have group-level responsibilities such as preparing budgets for various departments, conducting variance analysis, and collaborating cross-departmentally with stakeholders to resolve budget variances. The role also includes departmental cost reviews, liaising with internal stakeholders on queries, and performing ad hoc duties as required.The hours for the role are 07:30-04:00/08:30-05:00 depending on your preference.What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant with experience using accounting software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You should be a high-energy individual with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Key attributes include efficient work methods, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong interpersonal skills.
