Site Engineer Water Projects A leading civil and utilities contractor, in partnership with Uisce ireann, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across Dublin, Meath, and Louth.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor and play a key role in delivering essential water supply and wastewater network upgrades.
Projects include Growth & Development, Metering, Rehab, Connections & Developer Services, Reinstatement, and Leakage management.
Work involves pipeline construction, water main replacements, and wastewater infrastructure, contributing to national programmes improving water quality, reducing leakage, and securing supply for growing communities.
Key Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day management of civil and water projects on-site.
Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Conduct site inspections, surveys, and prepare progress reports.
Liaise with Uisce ireann, consultants, utility providers, and local authorities.
Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental culture on-site.
Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil or Water Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum 35 years experience on civil or water infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in pipelines, water mains, or wastewater network delivery.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, QA/QC, and environmental compliance.
Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering/project management tools.
Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across Dublin, Meath, and Louth.
Salary & Benefits: Circa €****K, depending on experience.
