EGIS Rail has a newly created position for a Systems Integration Manager involved in various rail projects, including the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme, focusing on signalling and communications improvements to increase capacity and reliability.
Egis is experiencing major growth, having integrated JB Barry & Partners, a leading Irish consulting engineering firm. We now offer comprehensive services from conception to operation.
Our Irish rail team is well-established, having designed Dublin's first Luas tram and participating in global projects like Riyadh Metro, Thessaloniki Metro, Grand Paris Express, and HS2 in the UK. We have multiple ongoing projects in Ireland, including the Dublin Luas extension and Cork projects.
Job description
1. Coordinate with team members to update schedules and reports weekly.
2. Create checklists based on client and team feedback, ensuring all comments are addressed and shared.
3. Assist Project Manager with scheduling, reporting, interfacing, deadlines, and risk management weekly.
4. Analyze schedules for dependencies and benefits, study the Critical Path, and inform the team.
5. Manage project information across all stages for stakeholders.
6. Coordinate with Project Manager and senior engineers to manage team requirements and client expectations.
7. Present regular schedules and reports to Project Manager, teams, and clients.
8. Create tender schedules for upcoming projects.
9. Manage programs and trackers from initiation to execution, enhancing business value.
10. Estimate timescales, monitor progress, review schedules, and analyze data for trends and threats.
11. Incorporate variations into schedules respecting deadlines.
12. Resource load projects and track accordingly, informing responsible resources of deadlines.
13. Cross-check schedules with clients to streamline processes.
14. Monitor, review, and report on project programs.
15. Support monthly reporting on progress, critical path, milestones, and P6 reports.
16. Plan programs in accordance with IE PMP procedures.
17. Track and predict project completion dates.
18. Prepare integrated project work plans, including cost and resource-loaded schedules. Update accruals and prepayments monthly.
Profile
* Third-level qualification in engineering/construction.
* 5+ years' experience in developing and controlling project schedules, preferably in railway projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Time Chainage programs is an advantage.
* Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects across teams, including remote collaboration.
