The Role
We are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join our award-winning multidisciplinary team. With a reputation for engineering excellence, we specialize in high-value, landmark developments across Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to lead the structural design of large-scale projects exceeding €100 million, including commercial hubs, healthcare facilities, and high-rise residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Lead the structural design process from concept to completion for major projects.
Design Excellence: Ensure all designs meet rigorous safety, sustainability, and quality standards using industry-leading software (e.g., Tekla, Robot, SCIA).
Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical oversight to junior and graduate engineers.
Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
Requirements
Education: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Status: Chartered Engineer (Ceng MIEI / MIStructE or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience specifically within a UK or Irish consultancy environment.
Portfolio: Proven track record of working on large-scale, complex structural projects.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English, with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
