Senior Data Engineer
Location: Galway (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Your Technical Expertise:
·Strong experience with database technologies such as Snowflake and Oracle.
·Object-oriented development experience (preferred language: Python).
·Practical experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
·Proven ability to design and build scalable, robust ETL data flows.
·Solid design and analysis capabilities for large data platforms.
·Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Docker).
·Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., SNS, SQS, Artemis MQ).
·Experience with job scheduling and batch processing (Control M, AWS Batch).
·Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
·Excellent interpersonal, communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
·Financial services experience is preferred but not essential.
