In this role, you'll be communicating with CEOs and Heads of Comms on a daily basis, helping to drive messaging and strategy as well as supporting announcements from products to funding.
Desired skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field preferred
- Execute on client relationships and day-to-day account tasks
- An ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment, including, but not limited to, client relationship management, driving client calls, planning news announcements, end-of-month reporting, and strategy execution
- An interest in the tech topics of today, from AI, blockchain, and sustainability to VC
- Pitch and secure media coverage across top-tier media outlets
- Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships
- Strong written and communication skills
- Strong administrative skills, time management & excellent attention to detail
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn
- Develop messaging or write compelling stories in alignment with a company's goals, upcoming announcements
- An ability to mentor and manage teams and ensure AE team members are keeping up with tasks.
Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of experience in the PR industry/journalism
- Agency experience is a plus
- Excellent writing skills
- Interest in and solid understanding of current tech topics, from AI to blockchain to sustainability.
