Your New Company
We are working with a leading Fitout Contractor operating in Dublin and nationwide who are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the organisation. Specialising in Developer Fitout, Retail/Hospitality Fitout as well as Design & Build and Main Contracting, and building on the close and loyal relationships established throughout the industry.
Your new role
You will work under the Project Manager and work with the client to ensure all targets are met from shell to completion and form part of a cohesive and dynamic delivery team carrying out projects across numerous sectors, with a focus on commercial fit out. As Site Manager, you will ensure all daily and weekly tasks are complete, through regular communication with the on-site construction team, managing equipment and machinery and ordering materials as needed. Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to, including the recording and reporting of any accidents, while making sure both internal and external inspections are passed and processed.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a strong Fit-Out or Joinery background with previous experience in a similar role. You will be detail-oriented as well as being an excellent motivator with excellent communication skills. A sound knowledge of standards and specifications is important.
Requirements:
1. At least 3-5 years of experience as a Site Manager in the construction sector
2. Strong leadership and management capabilities
3. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
4. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
6. Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related discipline
