We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team in County Kerry as a Junior Legal Secretary. As a key member of the senior legal staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient office operations, and maintaining accurate legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates with ease.
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, letters, and reports with precision.
* Organize and maintain physical and digital files in a secure and accessible environment.
* Assist in filing legal documents with courts and government agencies in accordance with regulations.
* Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.
* Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda with accuracy.
* Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and case updates efficiently.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and logistical support for legal staff members.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a Leaving Certificate with additional courses completed in legal studies or office administration is preferred.
* Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role is highly advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional typing skills are essential.
* Strong data entry and document management skills are required.
