Teaching and Research Position
Description of the Role:
This role plays a crucial part in teaching and conducting research within our Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Taught on Level 7-9 programs focusing on control engineering at University level.
The teaching will be delivered both through lectures, tutorials as well as laboratory classes. Regular assessments are used to monitor student progress throughout their academic year.
These courses cover advanced topics such as Control Systems Analysis, Automatic Control System Design Techniques.
Research activities are also an essential component of this position with regular publication output required. The researcher is expected to remain up-to-date with current developments in the field through appropriate scholarly engagement including workshops seminars conferences etc..
Active participation in school or departmental events further supports this goal for example membership service roles advisory committee work external examining consultancies etc..
