Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Fitter

The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, as part of the recruitment process.
* Installation, maintenance, and servicing of plant and equipment, including pumps, oil burners, dosing systems, pipework, and related services.
Support the installation of new projects and maintain relevant records accurately and in a timely manner.
* Assisting in new equipment installation and maintenance at other Enva/customer sites.
* Maintaining plant, machinery, pipework, pumps, and equipment on site.
Conduct checks, inspections, and audits as directed and adhere to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety policies.
Ensure housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirements.
Communicate any concerns affecting operational processes to the Production Manager immediately.
Attend meetings, training courses, etc., as required and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Suggest and implement solutions where relevant and be willing to work flexibly and carry out other duties as requested.
* Report any non-conformances and support corrective action activities.
* Support other teams/departments as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified fitter or sufficient mechanical maintenance experience required.
* Relevant/practical/hands-on experience in areas outlined, ideally in a manufacturing/production environment within medium/heavy industrial industry.
* Experience with equipment such as pumping equipment, oil burners, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
* Welding, drilling, and grinding experience.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on both reactive and planned bases.
