Job description:
Roscommon Traditional Music School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Guitar Teacher to join our expanding team. We are looking for either classical guitar and/or standard/contemporary guitar instructors to provide lessons to students of various ages and ability levels.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and structured guitar lessons (classical or standard)
* Support students in developing technical ability, confidence, and musical expression
* Prepare students for performances or exams (if applicable)
* Maintain good communication with parents and the school administration
Requirements:
* Reasonable knowledge and proficiency in guitar performance
* A genuine interest in music education and working with young learners
* Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not essential
* Reliability and good interpersonal skills
Hours:
* Flexible schedule (primarily afternoons and evenings)
* Suitable for freelance musicians, teachers, or students of music
Remuneration:
* Pay rate to be discussed at interview, depending on experience
