About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable and organised On-Call Scheduler to support our homecare team during evenings and weekends. You'll act as the first point of contact during out-of-office hours, ensuring continuity of care by managing urgent scheduling issues, client queries, and staff coordination.
This role is well suited to someone with strong customer service skills, who thrives under pressure and is passionate about delivering excellent support to both carers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate carer schedules out of hours
* Handle urgent queries, shift changes, cancellations, and emergency cover
* Communicate effectively with carers, clients, and management
* Maintain accurate records and update scheduling systems in real time
* Escalate any critical care issues or incidents appropriately
* Provide clear handovers to the daytime scheduling team
Requirements:
* Customer service experience is essential
* Experience in homecare or healthcare scheduling is preferred
* Excellent phone manner and ability to remain calm in urgent situations
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Comfortable using scheduling software, email, messaging tools, and phones
* Reliable and confident working independently
* Must be available to work from the Liberty Living Homecare office in Dublin

Hourly Rate:
€14.00 per hour
Working Hours:
Part-Time | On-Call
* Weekday Evenings: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
* Saturdays only: Rotational shifts — 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–9:00 PM
Flexibility required depending on coverage needs.
