Purpose of the role:The Senior Occupational Therapist will play a pivotal role in collaboration with the Step-Down Rehabilitation Lead and multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver a high quality, responsive rehabilitation service for patients transferred from St. James's Hospital to Care Choice Step Down facility, Parnell Road. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders to assist in the establishment, development and evaluation of this exciting new OT service. The Occupational Therapy department at St. James's Hospital provides a service to the Emergency Department, acute admission, inpatient rehabilitation, residential care, supported discharge, outreach recovery as well as ambulatory care.
