Job Role Overview
This position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide support services to children and young adults with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other complex needs.
The successful candidate will be employed in North Kerry: Children's Disability Network Team 1 (CDNT), based in Listowel.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing supports to individuals with various abilities and needs.
* Develop and implement individualized plans tailored to the specific requirements of each client.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care delivery across multiple settings.
Skill Requirements:
1. Mastery of occupational therapy techniques for working with clients from diverse backgrounds,
2. Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment,
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder principles & practices is desirable,,
Effective communication skills including written document preparation
