Position: German Linguist and Localization Specialist
Location: Dublin City South
Days & Hours of Work: Mon-Fri with flexible start & finish times.
Hybrid Model: 2 days in office & 3 days work from home.
Our client is a well-known global company seeking to employ a German Linguist and Localization Specialist in Dublin. You will work with a team of professional translators and be responsible for providing excellent quality service, along with interdepartmental support. Responsibilities of the Role:
* Translating content from English to German
* Verifying linguistic text to ensure correctness and localization.
* Ensuring the correct implementation of verified content, language, and text.
* Ensuring cultural acceptance and checking for politically sensitive content.
* Meeting quality standards.
* Communicating and working with both internal & external stakeholders
* Generating and analyzing reports.
* Checking for bugs within products and running test cases.
* Developing a deep knowledge of various video games, their mechanics, and debug menus.
* Working on ad hoc projects within translations across all platforms.
* Delivering excellent quality service and ensuring timely correspondence in accordance with targets.
* Committing to learning and developing extensive product knowledge.
* Assisting in-house teams with their administration and caseload as required.
* Multitasking on your daily workload and ensuring follow-up on your individual caseload.
* Providing excellent customer service to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Requirements for this Role:
* Degree qualified in translation/linguistics preferred.
* 1 year of experience as a translator from English to German.
* Strong administration skills.
* Ability to work with a large team in a fast-paced environment.
