EXPERIENCED RECEPTIONIST – From October 2025
Full time (40hrs) & part time hours available (24 to 32 hours). We are now recruiting someone to deliver the Wow! Factor within our Front Office team and lead from the front. The Front Office Team must deliver and expect exceptional guest service at all times. This role will organise, allocate and deliver all levels of guest accommodation requirements and exceed guest expectations daily.
Position
* Must be able to work independently and as part of the hotel Front Office Team
* Must be professional, well presented and reliable
A high level of written and verbal communication skills across multiple mediums – email, internet, phone, chat and face‑to‑face.
Key Tasks
* Meet, greet & check‑in all hotel guests
* Operate the hotel booking system (Hotsoft)
* Problem solving and dealing with daily guest enquiries, requests and expectations
* Deliver exceptional customer care and guest service
Qualifications
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Minimum of 1‑2 years previous Front Office experience in a 3*/4* property
* Solid knowledge of Front Office Reception Procedures and systems
* Highly organised
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Hotsoft preferable)
Experience/Qualifications
* A minimum of 1‑2 years in a Hotel Reception environment
* Experience with HotSoft Front Office System is preferable
* A friendly positive can‑do attitude
* Must be fluent in English both written and oral
* Must have an excellent telephone manner
* Be committed to delivering exceptional service
