CCTV Specialist – Installation and Maintenance

Location: Kiniska, Claregalway, Co. Galway (H91 YD49)
Salary range: €34,000 – €54,000 per year (39‑hour week). Additional hours will increase proportionally.
Job Description
We are looking for experienced CCTV Specialists to install, configure, maintain and support security systems at our premises.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure and maintain CCTV systems and related security equipment.
Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and replace equipment as needed.
Conduct site surveys and prepare installation reports.
Ensure systems meet regulatory, safety and data protection standards.
Provide user training and technical support to clients.
Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of IP/analogue systems, networking and cabling.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and site plans.
Full clean driving licence; ability to work on client sites.
Strong problem‑solving and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Technical Qualifications
Trade qualification in Electrical / Electronic / ICT discipline.
Certification in CCTV, Access Control or related systems.
Knowledge of network configuration, PoE, VMS, NVR, DVRS.
Safe Pass / Manual Handling (where applicable).
Additional Competencies
Attention to detail and high standard of workmanship.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Flexible approach to working hours and travel.
