- Permanent North Tipperary-Office based Reporting to a Financial Controller, working in a Team of five The key responsibilities include; -Manage the day to day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function, including; oreviewing / signing off payments; opreparing payment runs; omanaging cash; o Process monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments.oreviewing / submitting VAT returns; and osigning off on monthly bank reconciliations -Prepare monthly financial packages including P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow analysis.-Budget / Cashflow preparation and on going analysis -Prepare the year-end accounts file and liaise with external accountants & tax consultants for year-end statutory accounts & annual tax returns.-Seasonal Operational Management Reporting (both financial & narrative)
- Continue to improve internal systems & controls Requirements / experience To the successful applicant, we offer attractive remuneration, undertake further training, career progression in a growing division and an opportunity to gain knowledge of the wider business.Candidates must have; -an accounting qualification, preferably a minimum of five years post qualified experience -familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools, along with an ability to progress existing systems -a farming background or familiarity with the Department of Agricultural would be ideal but is not essential -experience in report writing / preparation for the various seasonal reports -experience in financial accounting, with a focus on areas like financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.-Attention to detail and well organised.
