About the Role:
The System Hardware Validation Engineer will work as part of a leading-edge technology team on cutting-edge technologies.
This team has a critical impact on delivering high-quality functional products to millions of customers quickly. We are hiring all levels from junior to senior roles.
You will be joining a team of expert low-level validation engineers with diverse backgrounds (Synthetic OS, DDR memories, sensors, security, CPUs and caching, Nucleus RTOS, embedded systems) to test next generation SoCs.
As part of the system validation team, you will develop or port test software to evaluate new hardware IPs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivery of low-level hardware drivers for Qualcomm Snapdragon Subsystems
* Manage validation and testing of the driver/hardware
* Migrate drivers to new platforms as required
* Drive innovation in software use cases
* On-going code re-factoring
* Test plan development and execution
Required Skills:
* Experience in Low Level software development in C, C++, and Assembly.
* Excellent knowledge of ARM and RISC V processors
* Experience in automation and test/integration methodologies.
* Experience developing validation methodologies and infrastructure solutions.
* Experience with SCM tools (GIT, Perforce)
* Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA)
* Good communication skills
* Strong debug skills
Preferred Skills:
* Developing and optimizing test framework and tools to create a controlled validation environment to support large scale validation.
* Designing and defining new validation strategy as well as detailed test plans.
* Lead debug efforts for issues found during Pre-silicon and Post-silicon.
* Define, design, and execute platform Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon validation plans for current and future products.
* Provide mentorship and technical direction to a distributed team of system validation engineers for program execution.
